Zebrano is an African species known for its very distinctive appearance. Its surface is characterized by broad dark streaks running across a lighter background, creating a strong contrast that resembles the stripes of a zebra. The patterns of zebrano veneer produce highly expressive surfaces that immediately draw attention and bring strong character to panels.
Native to West and Central Africa, zebrano mainly comes from the species Microberlinia brazzavillensis. It has long been used in furniture and decorative applications where a wood with a bold and easily recognizable pattern is desired.
